Good For Gaming
Especially for a special gaming segment, this Asus notebook design with top-class components that are ready for anything.

Gamers anywhere in the world has always idolized rig (system) is superb, both on desktop and notebook class. Specifically for notebooks, may share fairly narrow. But this reality did not dampen some of the manufacturers to deliver a special gaming products (which are often priced quite "crazy"), as made by Asus G73 ROG this time.

Being outside of the notebook of this one was "frightening" to the all-black color and design inspired by the Stealth F17 stealth bomber. Actually, there are two types of this latest Gaming Series: G53SW with screen 15.6 "and G73SW with screens 17.3". Incidentally we had the opportunity to taste a second model that carries the specification of the top in its class. Top? Yes, from the use of 4 core CPU i7-2630QM SandyBridge class, the screen size of 17.3 "(supporting Full-HD resolution), GeForce GTX 460M graphics chip with 1.5 GB of RAM to wear a capacity of 8 GB of DDR3 memory. Obviously not a notebook "nuts" instead?

It turned out great circuit components continues. Because the notebook to be positioned as a strong all-round gaming, Asus is also top-class pair devices. Call it a Blu-ray 4x Combo (Blu-ray reader-writer plus DVD) and 2-megapixel webcam. Gamers certainly like the best devices that do not necessarily exist in a conventional notebook. Cool again, the storage in the G73 hybrid is created in which the disc 500 GB hard drive paired with a 500 GB SSD. The role of the SSD will be felt when the system is running applications that do a lot of read-write activity to and from storage.

With a strong all-round charge, not surprisingly, G73 gaming notebook to be ideal. However, Asus was not willing to show responsibility. A package that includes a 3D Vision 3D glasses from nVidia also bundled. In addition, the 3D display in the notebook is also good thanks to the collaboration and GTX graphics 460N LCD Full-HD is capable of displaying images up to 120 frames per second. If the screen is less wide, just move the audio-video output to LCD TV via HDMI connection. 3D completeness is clearly the more perfect as a gaming notebook G73 degree that qualified even though the price is also quite high (above U.S. $ 2,000). The package includes a backpack to wrap notebook weighs no less than 4 kg.

If you really need a notebook or a gaming maniac super self-contained, G73 is indeed one good option. Stealth design, full features, and performance above the average of the data to its appeal. At least, in the next 2-3 years, this notebook will not stutter adapt new games, which keep popping up.

Testing Results
Because we have not got a class notebook with CPU SandyBridge, we compare this product with the HP Pavilion dv6-Q720 i7 processor 1.6 GHz and 6 GB of DDR3 memory. Somewhat surprisingly, look at HP's Cinebench scores a little better. Asus G73 looks more hurried to the daily application and 3D rendering by the GPU. GTX 460M did show his class here. Unfortunately, the short battery duration is a glaring weakness.
