Google Ebook Ready to Launch

Google ready to launch a groundbreaking new gadget eReader, iRiver Story HD, to market next week.

eReader first to use Google platform is priced at 139.99 U.S. dollars (or approximately USD 1.1 million), the same price as the Kindle and Reader Nook Simple Touch. This device is equipped with a qwerty keyboard and the screen is black-gray-like Kindle.

This gadget can also access more than 3 million free eBooks Google and hundreds of thousands of eBooks with pre-paid system. Not only that, this gadget also became the first eReader eBook titles that can be uploaded via Wi-Fi connection. In a number of previous similar gadgets users can only upload eBook titles via a PC and then transfer them to the eReader.

Google entered the eBook market is seriously began last December with Google gadgets eBookstore. Since then, the company expanded distribution to partners formattersebut by adding 250 independent bookstores in May.
